MFAT is a FDA compliant source of mesenchymal stromal cells (sometimes referred to as stemcells) which empower tissue regeneration.
What does microfragmented adipose tissue do?
Adipose tissue represents an accessible source of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC). MSCs are adult stem cells with the ability to differentiate into various types of mesoderm-derived cells, showing promising results in preclinical studies for various medical conditions.
Some facilities misuse the term ‘stemcell treatment’ and mislead patients into non-evidence based formulations of off the shelf ‘stemcell treatments’, falsly claiming all kind of indications and outcomes.
We use MFAT because it is one of the only FDA compliant regenerative procedures who have shown evidence in safety and efficacy. The MFAT procedure empowers tissue regeneration by MSCs secretion of cytokines and angiogenic factors. The biological composition of mFAT causes reduction of pro-inflammatory elements, while promoting the interaction between endothelial progenitors and MSCs/pericytes, in turn activating their anti-inflammatory and pro-regenerative potential.
